"NON, nous sommes ici avant que tu!"

After arriving safely in Ottawa I discovered that the french I do know sure can come in handy when people show up last minute to the outside line up and want dibs on the shuttle that runs every fifteen minutes that we've been waiting for 14 minutes and 30 seconds. Thanks to our determination and giant parka's we earned our spot on the shuttle and arrived at our nice hotel along with our new friends from the line up (the one's that were actually there from the beginning.)

After dining on Chinese food at a restaurant that recently obtained an expired liquor license we returned to our rooms to update our blogs. Travelling does not leave much for the imagination, while in transit, but I am SO excited for the next leg of our journey.

to answer the airport question of the day... the cadets at Halifax Airport were competing in a biathlon and when we asked them on the plane what the origins of the sport were, not one of them could tell us! The flight was smooth and enjoyable.

I'm sure my future blogs will tell a more interesting tale, but the good news is we are all safe and sound thus far and we are relaxing in our lovely hotel. (I do recommend the Southway Hotel in Ottawa to anyone on route. The staff are nice and the rooms are VERY comfortable!)

To Nunavut we go!
